I had a wonderful experience purchasing a vehicle from Island Honda! I was anxious about making my first purchase from a dealership, but I took the time to think about what I was comfortable with and put that out there to Peter, who I felt heard what I was wanting and made it happen. I worked with Peter and he was wonderful! Honest, available and didn't pressure or harass me through the process. Once I was ready to move forward Tal was also wonderfully helpful it getting the financial side taken care of. Everyone was respectful, honest and helpful! Much better than experiences I've had elsewhere !

Sorry to report this - I realize that it is most probably Honda Canada to blame, but nevertheless here is my recent experience with Island Honda. The battery of our less than 2 years old Honda CRV died and left me on the road... such a nasty experience... I expected that the warranty would cover the replacement of the failed battery, etc... They checked the battery and indeed it failed the test, so they offered a replacement... Guess what I was told though... - ... I have almost no warranty left on the battery, because at the time of purchase of the CRV (less then 2 years ago)... the battery was already 3 years old...!!! So with the prorated warranty policy the warranty was almost gone and I had to pay almost the full amount of the price of the replaced battery...!!! Sorry, but this doesn't sound right to me at all... I didn't have the time to to argue with them... but I think people should be aware of this... HOPEFULLY MORE PEOPLE READY THIS... Shame on you HONDA!!!... I really think that you don't stand behind your warranty... moreover I was sold on buying your extended warranty... As much as I can I'd avoid your services... Sooo disappointed.... :(
Thank you! I arrived at my campsite with an urgent engine issue. Island Honda arranged for quick service so that I could get my car back in good time. Ian was incredibly helpful in explaining how the issue was fixed and reassured me with the solution. He also arranged pickup shuttle service during staff shortage - very much appreciated and acknowledged!
Great people to deal with. They go the extra mile to ensure you're satisfied with their service. Very happy with our new hybrid CR-V.
