Shopped here at least 5 days a week for the past 10 years. Unfortunately, I could not find a new place to live in Comox and I've had to move to Courtenay, so I no longer shop here. Local business losing customers due to the housing shortage. Just thought you should be aware of why you are losing loyal customers 👍

Prices are higher than expected on some of their fresh food items and the quality is not that great. The chicken balls were tough and chewy and it costs more than buying it already warm at a local restaurant. We will certainly be more careful purchasing from here again.

Cheaters.
I bought T-bone steaks while on sale, they were in paks of 2. Top steak looks pretty good although quite a bit of fat on the strip. The bottom steak is thinner with the filet cut off. All the paks I bought were like that. So, I’m getting charged for a bone -on strip steak at t-bone prices. I swore a blue streak and was super mad. Sobey’s (Thrifty’s) does that and this John guy learned good.
I missed getting a photo of no filet and that tict me off the most! 🤬
