Before Mosin became the pharmacist/manager, I would have given the place 2 stars due to a variety of issues over 10+ years. Since Mosin started, my scripts have had no issues being filled (prior, forgotten or incomplete scripts literally every time I went in to p/u) and billing or other issues are quickly resolved, all with care & compassion. Mosin does an exceptional job managing the pharmacy.

Although there is sometimes a line up to deal with, the staff are always helpful and polite. The few times I have needed to ask a specific question of the Pharmacist himself, he has always been calm and professional. I enjoy the rapport I have built up with the staff there, now do all my prescriptions and vaccines through this outlet!

my boyfriend and i are absolutely disgusted and angry at a person who works in the pharmacy, i am normally a quiet, polite person, until it comes personal and to do with my family. for years we have had this pharmacy, and there have been a few times this has happened along with something else, my boyfriend has a ton of tattoos and i HATE when people use his appearance to become rude and disrespectful. the disgusted, pissed off look on your face because you have to serve him again, your very rude and cold , my boyfriend absolutely loves tattoos that should not make people be rude, he is very loving and kind and helpful to even strangers. there's one male there that has been rude more then once and very rude to me on the phone, he also did not follow through on filling our sons adhd meds, he gave us what he wanted, not what our family doctor asked for, ( we will be calling our doctor to let him know this has gone on ) we take our sons medication seriously and the fact that you don't do your job is horrible, this has upset us so much that we will be finding another place to go. how dare you make people feel crappy, how dare you decide yourself how much my kid needs! your there to fill what it says!!!!!!

2 stars because I really like the pharmacist at this location and most of the assistants are kind and efficient. Only 2 stars because all of that was ruined by the terrible customer service experience I had today (lady’s name starts with K). I have moved my RX to a different pharmacy because of her and I am shocked that she has a job with the way she treats customers.

Just had a horrible experience with the rudest pharmacist and staff, both continuously cutting me off and not understand what I was saying to begin with. I’m a person on disability living with financial difficulties, made worse by the housing crisis. I have severe allergy-induced asthma for which I either need to suffer through and use my emergency inhaler up to 6 times a day (or more if it gets really bad), but this can be avoided if I get a special inhaler I take once a day that settles my lungs. I have moved to BC in the past couple years from Ontario, where with provincial benefits it used to be completely covered. Now, despite being chronically ill and with no income except disability payments, struggling with rent and groceries, this inhaler costs almost $200. It comes with 30 inhales so I need once a month. This is not always a cost I can afford. I have had to get several emergency refills, while still paying!!!, because my family doctor is so hard to get a hold of, and it is next to impossible to get into a walk-in clinic for a refill. I called my doctors office today as I have been out of this life saving inhaler for a few weeks now- not asking for a refill because of the reasons I mentioned above. I have actively been working with my family doctor for the past little while to get approved for a special exception which is an exemption of payment. I have been checking with his office but it has not gone through yet. I asked his secretary if she could pass along the message for a refill to this specific pharmacy. I called immediately after to inquire if their policy on refilling prescriptions without a doctors request had changed, because I was TOLD it might have. It was a simple question. I tried explained my entire situation to the staff who cut me off and essentially mansplained my own situation to me, telling me I need to contact my doctor before calling. I obviously took that as a “no our policies have not changed, you heard wrong.” She transferred to me to the pharmacist before I could protest and the pharmacist just did the same thing, except with even more malice in her voice and word choices. They both accused me of “waiting this long” and “not seeing the doctor in the last 6 months” which makes zero sense. I told them I had “waited this long” which around a month or so to try and get a refill to the point where I am now desperate BECAUSE of the reasons I mentioned. It is expensive and I cannot always afford it. Because of this I suffer through asthma until I have enough to pay for it. They did not give me the time of day and treated me like a nuisance, trying to get a refill of opioids or something without a doctor. The accusatory nature of everything that was said was horrible, all I wanted to know was if they could help me sooner as I didn’t know when my prescription would go through. Terribly rude people with zero compassion for a fellow human being.
