Me and my husband had a pleasant experience. The staff (servers) were pleasant and approachable. We did not have a bad experience with them. Everything is fast. We dined in with them 3 days consecutively. And we tried out different dishes. We have a good lunch date while our kids were on their snowboard camp. We had a good rest after morning skiing and saving our energy for the afternoon ski. Food was fine. For me food menu prices were fair. The same price as the other restaurants. It is another 30 minute drive if you would like to drive down to find a restaurant. It is still mandatory to show your vaccine card and ID do not forget to bring one. You also need to scan their menu if you are ready to choose. Our table was nice and clean. Definitely coming back next time.

Just went for beers on the deck with our dog to catch the sunset. $24 pitchers including tax is pretty decent pricing for a ski resort. Our server Nikki was super friendly and efficient and the Dutch server even brought a water bowl for our dog…somehow a little beer got in there!

Was our first time up to the mountain as a family and we were super disappointed to say the least. While the tubing was great the restaurant was sub par at best. The first issue was ordering a side of hot sauce to go with my wings, that somehow equaled an extra order of hot wings. When I told the curly haired young girl who brought our food out (not our tables server) that we had not ordered the extra thing of wings she was adamant that we did and had assured us we would be charged for the plate of wings we did not order. Our tables server came back and had confirmed the kitchen made an error and we had not ordered the extra wings. Then when our server brought our bill to us we noticed a charge for the kids drinks that very clearly stated on the menu were included with the kids meals. There was no manager on shift as apparently the only manager had quit. I will note our actual server was very fresh on the job and did the best she could given the tools she had but we will not be returning to this restaurant, next time we will just drive back into town for food afterwards.

After a properly gruelling snowshoe circumnavigation of Mount Helen Mackenzie, we stumbled into Ted’s in that beautiful, slightly feral state known only to winter adventurers who’ve earned their calories. Enter Emma (UK charm with Olympic-level hospitality instincts) and Jenja (Comox Valley cool with a sixth sense for hungry humans) — a dynamic duo delivering next-level service with warmth, wit, and impeccable timing. From the first smile to the last napkin, they made us feel like victorious explorers rather than damp, ravenous snow creatures. And then… the Hot Wings. Ted’s legendary Hot Wings. A feast so satisfying it bordered on spiritual. Crispy, saucy, glorious — the kind of post-adventure fuel that restores faith in humanity and possibly adds years to one’s life. Huge kudos to Emma and Jenja for elevating an already iconic Ted’s experience into a full-blown après-adventure highlight. Service like that doesn’t just fill tables — it creates loyal, wing-obsessed pilgrims. We’ll be back. Hungrier. And hopefully just as deserving. 😊✨ Ray, Vanessa & Claire 🏔️🎿

We were seated for over two hours, and when our food finally arrived, everything was wrong and cold. We watched plates sitting on the heat lamp for well over an hour, which clearly explains the temperature. We weren’t given napkins, several of our drinks never arrived, and the ones that did were poorly made. The alcoholic beverages tasted off, and the soda had no flavour at all. Our server only checked on us twice the entire time. The restaurant was complete chaos. Staff appeared overwhelmed and untrained, food was constantly being delivered to the wrong tables, and servers were telling customers to just take food because no one knew where orders belonged. It was uncomfortable to watch and even worse to experience. I noticed after the fact that this restaurant has a 2.8 star rating, and I truly wish we had paid attention to the reviews beforehand. This was by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.
