Such a wonderful little place you MUST stop in to see! Nice nostalgic atmosphere, fantastic menu which is very affordable for what you get and friendly staff! While I have had to wait for a table everytime I visit, it's well worth it!

We stayed next door at the Coast Hotel, so we had to try this gem! And we're so glad we did. The food was amazing, with generous portions and reasonable prices. The cozy vibe and fun decor made for a wonderful atmosphere. But what really made our experience stand out was our server, JC - they were awesome! Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend it!

Rave to Annette — Three of us ladies came in from Campbell River and just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our visit. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Our server went above and beyond to make the experience wonderful—friendly, attentive, and truly exceptional.

When I tell you I ordered the most basic breakfast - eggs, bacon, and pancakes, and a stolen slice of my partners toast - you’re not going to understand how I can say this is one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. I’ve thought about this breakfast everyday for the past 3 weeks since I last had it and every time I consider driving from Victoria to Courtenay just for this exact breakfast. If you haven’t tried Plates yet - good, don’t, so there’s less of a line when I inevitably come back!
