I had such a great experience with Peter and Tal at Isle Honda in Courtenay. Peter helped me purchase my very first vehicle, which unfortunately was totaled on February 6th. When I had to go through the process again, it was honestly a pleasure dealing with them both.
Peter is extremely knowledgeable and really listens to what you’re looking for. If you tell him what you want in a vehicle, he truly does his best to find the right match for you. Tal was also incredibly helpful throughout the process and took the time to help me choose the right vehicle.

Genuinely above and beyond experience with the service department. We rolled in 15 minutes early for our appointment and they welcomed us right away. The new tires we ordered were already mounted and balanced, ready to bolt on. Job was done very quickly, they literally washed the car and vacuumed and even wiped the floor mats! After all that, we actually were invoiced less than originally quoted. Drove from Nanaimo to Courtney because they had the tires and wheels we wanted in stock but are likely to make the drive again if we need vehicle service on our Honda. Ryan was our technician and Gayle did the paperwork and customer service. Both were excellent.

Larry and I were totally pleased with the service we received from the Island Honda. We never felt a "push" from our sales person Peter Mallany, who made sure I got a good cup of coffee, after a day of purchase details. The service we received when we had to go back and get a lesson on some of the new to us items on the car was both kind and quick. True customer service is an art, and Island Honda is a leader in it, Thank you

My wife Cheryl and I Just purchased our new 2026 Honda passport trail sport touring SUV - the whole team at Island Honda was fantastic!! No upselling and they were fair on our trades - my wife was a loyal Toyota fan and had some hesitation in trading her 4Runner for a Honda!! Sure glad we did!!!! Dayton our sales rep was very knowledgeable and professional, Tal was so chill and they knew their products!!! Thanks to the team for a great experience- love our new vehicle !!!

September 2023, put a deposit on a FL5 Civic Type R. Was told there was no other deposits or buyers in line. Each time I checked in my sales guy didnt appear to remember dealing with me. About 6 months ago he told me that Honda had awarded the dealership a car. Long story short, when the car came I was some how magically 3rd in line. They told me it was the next that would be mine (riiight).
After three years of waiting patiently I decided to pull my deposit as of today. Unfortunately this is the issue with dealers and this car. Its unobtaibium unless you want to pay over MSRP. Would be a 5 star if I recieved my car, 1 star for the waste of my time and hopes.
