I haven't had my hair professionally cut in 17 years and it's been very long for over a decade. I was ready for a change and Catherine was awesome, she made it even better than I thought it'd be and I'm so happy with it. I'll definitely be going back to keep it maintained this way it looks stunning and way easier maintenance. I'm so excited to show my friends I'm ecstatic. :)

Heather was amazing. My kid hates getting his hair cut. We have been to a number of higher priced salons, barbers, studios- and it’s always the same: “I hate my haircut”.
Tonight we went to First Choice figuring that if he’s gonna hate it anyway- it might as well be affordable. Heather spent a good amount of time getting to know my kid, trying to understand what he wanted, and then being thorough in giving him a good cut.
The result… after 13 years… FINALLY….
“This is the first time I’ve ever liked a haircut”

I have had my hair cut and styled by Janet for about 4 years. She gives me a great bob cut. She is very creative in the way she cuts, razors and layers my hair. She really pays attention to detail. She has a lovely personality. She is a very friendly and engaging person. The atmosphere at First Choice Hair at 444 Lerwick Road is very positive and uplifting, there is a lot of good energy amongst the hair stylists.

The worst hair cut ever it took her 5 minutes and I ask her to wisk my front to frame my face like I have done for years she said no it won't look right. I am the one getting the hair cut HELLO so went to dollar store grabed a pair of scissors and did my self . Charged me 26 bucks for what never will ever go there again
