Just need you to know we drive way out of our way to Qualicum to avoid the totally rude and pretentious staff that work here. When you are the only grocery store for a long way, I guess you can get away with whatever you want. It’s too bad since there are some baked items here, and if they ever put in a self checkout we might come back.

We stopped in on our way through Bowser and were pleasantly surprised by the selection, quality and pricing of products in the store. We were stopping for snacks, so didn't look at everything, but what we did look at was comparable or better to what you'd find at a chain grocery store.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Will drop in again on the way through

Come here for the bakery section, otherwise most of the other products are priced what you'd expect for a small town: expensive.

Many visits later... always welcoming and very friendly staff, and a surprisingly good, and great selection !
Latest update.. got my favorite cheese and sausage, and heading down bowser rd watchin for orcas!

Great produce. Has all the essentials, along with a friendly relaxed vibe. You won't find organic vinaigrette, but a great bread shelf and solid meat counter make this place a solid local grocery store.
