Simply AMAZING. Me and the family went here on September 28th, and I am not lying if I say this is the best pizza I have ever eaten, anywhere in the world.
The sourdough crust is SO good, and it’s amazing you get the possibility to do half/half. The pizza is big enough for 2 for a regular dinner, perhaps even 3 if there are three light eaters
If I lived here, I’d come here every time for pizza!

The Backyarder at Bonnie’s in Comox genuinely surprised me. I eat a lot of pizza, so it takes something special to stand out, and this one did. The dough, ingredients, and overall style came together perfectly, and I was honestly blown away. The place is a little hidden between two buildings, but it’s absolutely worth finding. I’m really hoping good things are ahead for Bonnie’s. If there were one in my neighborhood, I’d be there all the time.

Really good sourdough pizza reminiscent of New York style. Good toppings, good vibe and really good service.
I've eaten a whole lot of pizza and my suggestion to this place is to work on the sauce, add a bit more of it to the pizza and let it get a little floppy. I felt like the crust and toppings were just fine, but there was way too little sauce.
The meat leaning pizzas will also benefit from this, instead of a super greasy slice, it will seem like it's just super saucy.
Despite that, I'd happily come back and ask for well done with extra sauce.

Boonies Pizza absolutely knocked it out of the park. From the moment we walked in the service was fast, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, and the food was just as impressive with fresh ingredients, a perfect crust, and great flavour in every bite. Everything came out hot and exactly as ordered, and the overall experience felt a step above your typical pizza spot. Big shoutout to Liam for the awesome service, amazing pizza, and overall great experience.

I would consider my partner and I to be Vancouver Island pizza connoisseurs… and this place is top 3!! 🎉 Perfect crust.. yum!
