This is a great 6-6-1/2 km trail walk/bike ride from the one side of the dam to Nymph Falls and continues from the falls, under hwy 19 to the Duncan Bay Mainline Road where it becomes private property, I roughly estimate about 1 km further, if my memory is serves me well. It also stretches far on the other side of the dam but I haven’t measured that side. It’s slightly shorter. I’ve not walked both sides in one day, but on a bike it’s a nice ride on both sides, but away from the water in most places.

Fantastic spot on Comox Lake. Right next to tons of trails and plenty of beach in the summer.

Trails, trails, trails. So many forest trails to walk on, or ride a bike. Can be crowded on the weekends. Careful that you don't get lost!

I did not see any bears . . . . but the trail itself along with the River trail is well maintained and a nice easy hike. You can continue all the way to Nymph Falls or you can turn back and take another trail back to the parking lot.
