The staff here is great! knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Much better service than that at the postal outlet at the Comox mall Rexall.

It’s no wonder that Canada Post is dying a slow death.
On the way to the Post Office in Comox, B.C. I walked past a private-sector business. The time was 8:50 while the business was to open at 9:00. I peered through the window to see what type of business it was, and the receptionist opened the door to say hello, in case I was a potential customer. This was a customer-first attitude.
Then I went to the Post Office. It was 9:05 by that time, but the door was locked. I knocked on the door, and the employee inside called out saying “I’m not ready!?” I said “”but it’s past 9:00” and he said “I see that but I’m not ready.” He did not say something like “I’ll be with you in a moment, sorry for the delay.” He simply informed me that I would just have to wait until he was ready.
This was an employee-first customer-second attitude, and it helps explain why Canada Post now has to mount campaigns to beg customers to return.

I just wanted to give a shout out to the gentleman that helped me today. Very professional and helpful. I needed an extra bit of assistance and he was extremely accommodating. When dealing with the public this is often a difficult task. Thank you.
