I am disgusted with this Inn. My aunt who has lived in Courtenay for well over 40 years was flying home from Alberta and is coming home to no heat. She tried booking a room here so she could fly in late, stay the night with heat etc to then go home and deal with her situation. They would NOT let her book a room as she is LOCAL. They said we dont let locals stay here!!!! This is extremely unprofessional and not right! It is so unheard of! SMH.

Overall, it was a great place and location for the price. Clean, deep tub, small breakfast n lunch restaurant attached to hotel. Walking distance to beautiful downtown and museum. Sushi restaurant next door was amazing too. More pillows would be nice, only 2 in the room. We stayed on the main floor near steps, so was very loud with banging suitcases, and both nights on above neighbours were loud.

My wife and I were dealing with a very hard situation with a family pet that was in critical care. In a time of need when other hotels/motels were not willing to help, Raj at the front desk helped us. She was caring and empathetic towards our situation, which shined a light into the darkness we were experiencing. Thank you Raj again for your kindness and hospitality. We will not forget ❤️

We stayed here for a month, and it was an absolute disaster. No laundry service, no room cleaning, and rude, unprofessional staff who clearly don’t care about guests. We had to beg for basics like clean towels and toilet paper. The room was in bad shape — dirty, outdated, and uncomfortable.
Wi-Fi barely worked, air conditioning was weak, and no one ever came to clean or even check in on us. This place doesn’t meet even the most basic hotel standards. Avoid at all costs. One star is too generous.

I wanted to express my appreciation for the Comox Valley Inn. I stay at your inn multiple times throughout the year for my ski and biking trips to Mount Washington, and I'm consistently impressed.
The location in Courtenay is incredibly convenient, offering easy access to downtown coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, and walking trails. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The rooms are clean, modern, comfortable and their onsite cafe is exceptional! (my personal favourite are the crepes).
Thank you for providing such a great value and a positive experience.
