Our accommodation cancelled on us so we then had to find a two bedroom and this was one of the only ones we could find. Reading reviews and the low price compared to everything else left us a little concerned but we thought oh well, only for a couple of nights. Our expectations were low and we were so pleasantly surprised.
First impression was the lady in our office and she was so helpful, stressing that if anything was wrong let her know, giving us food suggestions and you honestly felt really welcomed.
The room, we had two bedrooms was spacious, the beds were super comfortable and most importantly, it was really clean. The room had a big fridge freezer, microwave and coffee machine.
If you were going to be critical and look for things, the paint on the wall is scruffed, the window paint in the bathroom needs redoing, and the toilet seems to be on a slight slant. The pool and hot tub also were not in service.
We stayed here because we needed somewhere but we would stay here by choice again, especially when you consider the price. We have no complaints!

Our stay was here was enjoyable! Room was quiet, clean and beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying and we'd come back for future stays.

Super nice staff! Clean, well-appointed rooms with a comfy bed and everything you need for an overnight stay.
Bonus: dog friendly.

This is an older motel, so don't expect 5 star. The staff were efficient and friendly. The rooms were clean and stocked. The bed comfortable. It's within walking distance of an outdoor mall and places to eat.

The entire experience I had dealing with this establishment was an absolute nightmare. The staff is nice, but I’m thinking not properly trained or informed as we never got a straight answer once. It was constantly changing. I booked back in March for a 2 month stay and was told $2200 monthly. Fast forward to May, 5 days before the trip I received a call saying the originally price would be doubling as they decided not to do monthly rates in the summer months. Even though this rule was not in place when I booked. I ended up getting them to honour the charge as it was to short notice to find a long term rental on the island this close to the trip we had already planned. In the end, they denied us the room once we arrived as a staff member got into an altercation with another guest that wasn’t even associated with us. We were also told that debit was fine upon arrival, we just needed a credit card to reserve the room. Once we got there, they told us no. That they only did that for “regular” customers. They 100% just wanted us out of there as they were obligated to honour the original price we were given. The manager was incredibly rude, unprofessional, and cold hearted. He told me, and I quote “you could be homeless for in your car out here for all I care” after begging and pleading for him to just hear me out when I was explaining we were not associated with the individual the staff member had gotten into an altercation with. I highly recommend not staying in this motel, and looking for rooms that charge better rates for what you receive along with better customer service.

A person who was also told debit card upon arrival for payment was accepted, and once he heard he would be homeless on the island after confirming multiple times prior to arrival who was incredibly frustrated after hours of travel, and being booked weeks in advance. This behaviour is absolutely unacceptable, however we had absolutely nothing to do with it. Myself and my boyfriend were nothing but nice. Even when you wouldn’t bother looking up from your phone while I was begging you to listen to me. I wasn’t even present for the altercation that took place before you decided to turn us away. Ridiculous
