Great experience. Rented a sea kayak for a trip to Quatsino Sound. Everything was ready when we arrived. They helped secure the kayak and taught me a few tricks around using ropes effectively that I used on my own kayak. Easy return process including an after hours process if we couldn't get back when they were open. Super service and look forward to renting from them again.

Best rental boat shop I have ever dealt with. Vicki is a lovely human being and accommodated our moving target schedule so nicely! When I paddle on the north island, this is my goto shop. You won't be disappointed!

We rented a canoe for a multi-day portage trip and the pick-up and drop-off at Comox Valley was simple and hassle-free. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, and we will definitely rent from them again. They showed us how to load up the canoe on my vehicle and gave us everything we needed to secure it for the drive. The rental includes paddles and other boating gear. We paid extra for a cart and I recommend that for portaging if you have room in the canoe. The cart had good-sized wheels which was helpful for getting over roots and rocks on the portage trail.

Kayaks were beautiful and in pristine condition. Everything was ready for us when we arrived, and we got all the help we needed from the knowledgable staff. We had a lovely evening paddling the gorgeous Baynes Sound. Have rented before, and will definitely rent again from Comox Valley Kayaks.

Great rental experience again this year !! We rented a double kayak for our annual multiday trip and everything went smoothly. Good and easy pick-up/drop off. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. Would highly recommand!
