Fake friendly. Heaven forbid her recommendation doesn't work then you will truly see her real personality. Rude, and confrontational and went out of her way to try and belittle. Shocking really how Dr Kulkarni can treat people in small towns and think it doesn't get around. I will not be following up.

Dr. Kulkarni is the consummate professional. Her staff is both efficient and pleasant. At no point during my cataract surgery did I have any qualms.

Had cataract surgery 6 nov 23, ended up with blurry vision, after paying an additional $700.00 office fee. Dr Kulkarni shipped me off to Nanaimo to a specialist, he in turn sent me to Dr Hoar in Duncan. After another series of tests she informs me I require a cornea transplant, I paid Dr Kulkarni 700.00 for what she said was extra measurements For blurry vision, the positive from this is I have finally found a very competent Dr even though it is a few drives and and a couple nights hotel stay in Duncan.

I am surprised by the comments about staff manners. I had a great experience: they all were professional, friendly and prompt ... and Dr Kulkarni too, of course. ^_^

Today, Jan. 28/21 I had a cataract removed and a lens implanted by Dr Kulkarni. My whole experience from registration to being wheeled out to my ride home, was excellent. I was treated with courtesy and kindness by nurses applying drops. Dr Kulkarni came and administered the final drops herself. She reassured me and explained the process. The surgery itself was short and completely painless. I have no difficulty in recommending very highly this surgeon and her staff.
