Located just off the main road near the ferry terminal, this local seafood market shares a building with a gas station and convenience store—head downstairs to find it.
Primarily a take-home shop, they offer fresh Pacific oysters sold by the dozen. You can shuck them yourself outside using a borrowed shucking tool, with picnic tables available, weather permitting. I bought two dozen, shucked them myself, and enjoyed every bite—absolutely fantastic!
The market also stocks prepared foods and a variety of fresh seafood, including scallops , fish, mussels, and Dungeness crab when in season.
Though small, the shop is efficient, and the staff are incredibly helpful. As a non-local, I’d definitely return for the oysters, and if I were staying longer, I’d grab ingredients to cook at home.

A must stop for seafood lovers!!
Fresh seafood including ready to shuck oysters and crab.
Amazing variety of candied salmon!
Tried the salmon pate and crab cakes. Crab cakes were great on the bbq. Crunchy on the inside, soft and moist inside.
The lady who helped me was soooo sweet!! Asked for some cooking recommendations and was told some amazing tips. She was so thoughtful in asking if we needed ice to go with our goodies!
Highly recommended. Great to support a local and very cute shop.

Good fresh seafood and oysters right by the ferry terminal. Fanny bay oysters which you can buy and shuck yourself on the patio. All supplies such as oyster knife and lemon/hot sauce you can buy onsite. The staff seems a little grumpy and not the most helpful but maybe I caught them on a bad day.

The best oysters. Plump and succulent, great on the bbq for a oyster burger and for a lovely chowder. All their products looked so fresh and with excellent service too.

The oysters? Phenomenal. Fresh, cold, the kind of quality that makes you want to eat a dozen and then a dozen more. If this review were just about the seafood, we’d be looking at a solid 5 stars.
But alas, there’s the woman behind the counter — older, with long hair and the permanent expression of someone who’s been personally wronged by your existence — was an absolute delight if your idea of fun is being passive-aggressively scolded for asking a question.
We dared to inquire about the differences between the oysters (you know, like customers do at every other oyster bar on planet Earth), and were met with a tone so icy it could’ve flash-frozen the entire tray of shellfish. Apparently, we’re all supposed to arrive with a working knowledge of the oyster profiles.
So, to summarize:
Oysters? 10/10.
Service? Like being quizzed by your salty great aunt who regrets ever opening a seafood business.
Would I go back? Only if I’m in the mood for world-class oysters and a side of low-key humiliation.
