Highly reccomend checking out this sweet little farmstead right on the highway between Campbell River and Courtenay. Fiona and her family are the loveliest people and the best hosts. There are so many things to visit the farm for. U-Pick strawberries and slushies in the summer, her Haunted Squash Market in the fall (with all the beautiful squashes and pumpkins you could imagine), and Christmas Magic in the greenhouse for December. They sell all kinds of local product, pork, eggs, and more. You can find Fireweed Farmstead at the Farmers Market on the weekends too but it's so much fun to visit the farm in person. Shopping local and supporting our little farms is more important now than ever and this one is extra special.

Went to check out the u-pick strawberry patch today and was not disappointed! Fiona one of the owners was right on hand to greet us and was so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! We were able to have a great chat about their land and the produce they grow. The strawberries are INCREDIBLE. They are so far beyond the level of anything you could get from a grocery store!
I will definitely be back! They have so much more besides the strawberries as well! Highly recommend checking them out!

We popped in first time today and were greeted immediately by the knowledgeable and friendly farm steward Fiona. When we told her we hadn't been before, she graciously took lots of time from her workload to show us the giant and well maintained strawberry patch. Wow. We discussed the property, their projects and designs on future expansion too. She is clearly in the right place and has found her niche! To top off our visit she graciously gave us 2 for 1 on some young shiso plants, yum! Thank you for your time and efforts, Fiona, we'll tell folks and come back!

Strawberries were so fresh and tasty some of the beat ive ever had! The owners were so nice and friendly will definatly be back!
