I'm not someone who ever complains or even speaks up, in situations. But I had gone in yesterday for a Mani and Pedi as my gift from my husband. Durning my pedicure I had noticedy legs started burning, and I had explained to the lady my skin is very sensitive and she said yes it is, but continue and did not stop. And had told me I needed to use the leg collagen thing (which I didn't initially want, but between lauguge barrier i caved, they never explained it would of costed more)
And upon finishing she had used stones on my already chemical burned legs which really hurt, but I tried to play it off.
So today I decided I would go back and show my legs to the staff and see what they say. In response I received "I told you yesterday your skin is very sensitive"
Then I assume the owner had said next time if I come back she would make it up to me?
In the end of everything, I understand it was my fault for not being more Stern and speak up for myself. I wish there would of been more care taken, and more explanation of the products being used.
Not to mention that all of my cudicals on my left hand are all cut up and stinging.

My best friend and I came here today. I hadn’t been to a nail salon in Courtenay before (I live in the states), so I picked one based on reviews. So glad I did! The staff were very friendly and a lot of fun. The owner was sweet and we had a number of things in common. The nail work was top notch. We were both 100% satisfied! I will be back!

First time for a classic pedicure with gel polish & it was a wonderful experience. Their classic pedicure is what most other places call a deluxe, it was a full hour of pampering & I loved it!!

Just had my first pedicure and manicure at Glossed Nail Spa and I highly recommend them. Very professional and knowledgeable and the spa is very clean and well sanitized. I will most definitely be back!
