Having just relocating from Nova Scotia, I was searching for a new salon and randomly chose to walk into Glossed Nail Spa.
I am a traveler and have visited numerous salons across Canada, in many provinces.
I can confidently say this was by far the best experience I've had!
The moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warmth and true kindness, instantly making me feel at home.
Their friendly and genuine service went above and beyond, creating a welcoming atmosphere that set this salon apart. From the professionalism to the personal attentiveness, every detail was impeccable. I highly recommend this salon to anyone seeking quality care paired with a comforting, friendly environment. An outstanding first visit that exceeded all my expectations! I left with a big smile on my face, and I can confidently say I have found my new salon!
May I also mention how gentle they were, I experienced no pain, No burnt nails, No over grinding, No over cutting of cuticles. I was there for less time than expected and walked out with quality I’ve never had before. Very proficient, and outstanding results.

I’m disappointed with my experience at this salon. My pedicure was great but I went in for a manicure with gel polish, and by the very next day, the polish was bubbly and poorly applied. I even had to clean up the edges when I got home. I called and the owner was kind enough to offer a redo, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the second appointment wasn’t great. The redo felt very rushed, and the technician seemed uninterested in doing a thorough job—she originally wanted to apply only one coat of colour and I never got a proper manicure. My cuticles were never cleaned up. It’s been 8 days, and my gel polish is starting to peel.

Awful experience here at Glossed Nails.
I had went for a trial run of my bridal nails for my upcoming wedding as I had planned to have mine and my bridesmaids nails done here before the big day.
I was burnt by the drill multiple times despite telling her it was too hot. I was also cut twice and bled.
My nails were heavy, bulky, uneven and dug into the issue around my skin. I’ve been getting my nails done for 18 years and this was the worst experience I have had anywhere. I immediately went to another nail place and had them fixed and they were shocked at what Glossed Nails produced.

Love this salon! Started coming in February and never went anywhere else again. Everyone is so sweet, they are amazing with kids it never feels stressful if i have to bring my 3 year old with me, they paint her nails and chat with her and my daughter is always happy to be there. The staff and the owner will make sure you’re comfortable. 10/10 customer service. I always leave happy that i made the switch to this salon. A bonus is I came there to stop acrylic nails and get gel polish and my nails are the healthiest they have ever been! Thank you everyone at Glossed for everything!!

Just what I needed. This was my first spa visit since moving to the Comox Valley and it will be my go-to place!
The owner Wendy warmly welcomed me and made sure I had everything I needed.
When you walk in the aroma and music are very nice (no strong chemical smell!) It is clean, comfortable and modern.
I got a gel mani-pedi. The team were friendly and knowledgeable and I’m so happy with their results!
The ultimate pedicure was amazing and included a HOT STONE massage! Highly recommend!
The whole experience left me feeling relaxed and refreshed. Thanks!
