Dropped in for fish and chips and a beer.
Good selection of draft beer however I would give the fish and chips a 2 out of 10.
An inkling of what was to come was when my meal arrived within 5 minutes of ordering.
Usually it is very good, this time it is as if it had been pre-cooked and then redone again to heat it up.
The batter was actually crunchy and the fish very dry, the chips were quite oily.
If this was my first time, I would not return.

We went for lunch after a military event. Staff were wonderful, patio was lovely and the food was delicious. I had the Brie which was amazing. Close to the base (CFB Comox) so very convenient for us. Have been before and will go back again. Good portion sizes and decently priced. We all felt very welcomed to be there, even though we showed up a little before they even opened.

Five stars for a large and creative pub vegetarian and vegan menu. I recommend the rootben (vegan Ruben) and veggie poutine. Lots of gluten-intolerant options as well. Great service in a down to earth and classic pub atmosphere.

Our first visit. It was busy when we arrived for dinner, but we found a seat and we were given a friendly greeting. I had the schnitzel with veg and mashed potatoes. Delicious. SL had a burger which she said had a lovely char and flavour and the onion rings wete perfect. Although we were full we had to try the peanut butter pie
It was good, but a bit dense. We look forward to many more visits.

Great food and great service as always! I always come here for the seafood chowder because it doesn’t have bacon and that is difficult to find. We had the curry prawn appetizer and shared a salmon burger, and it was all fantastic. Sadly, I had forgotten about the fact that they allow smoking on the patio as the last two times we were there absolutely nobody was smoking, but this time we were surrounded and had a very difficult time enjoying our meal and will likely not be back for patio season. It’s a real shame for such a nice spot
