In 1984 we watched the Griffin Pub being built. Over the years we have always dropped in and enjoyed their fish and chips. It is best described as a warm cozy place that sort of feels like your home. Friendly people and great food. I had the potato leak soup and fish and chips. It can get very busy for lunch so remember it opens at 11:00 AM. Thanks for all the years of great service.

Hard to give a review on anything other than service. Arrived on November 26th (my birthday) around 430. Waited and waited and waited for someone to acknowledge we were there. We were in clear shot of the servers and no acknowledgement. Then two fellas came in and sat close to us. The waitress came over within 2 minutes of them sitting down. Walked by us who had been seated waiting for 15 minutes and said " I will be with you in a moment" I was dumb founded. We got up and left. Worst service ive ever had. We didnt even get a chance to get to food or drinks, so sorry can't rate that.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and quite a selection on the menu. The food is very tasty and nicely presented. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The service was right on. I had the meatloaf and my wife had a hamburger both were very delicious. We will be back to try some other things on the menu.

Our first visit. It was busy when we arrived for dinner, but we found a seat and we were given a friendly greeting. I had the schnitzel with veg and mashed potatoes. Delicious. SL had a burger which she said had a lovely char and flavour and the onion rings wete perfect. Although we were full we had to try the peanut butter pie
It was good, but a bit dense. We look forward to many more visits.
