AWESOME! Brand new location and setup. It is well laid out and you get a chance to see all of Hornby Island’s mammals and birds as if they were alive. (Taxidermy.). Kids would love this place but adults too. Fossils found locally are also on display and a sitting area with kids books and more. Go for five minutes or two hours. No entry fee either. You can also buy a (Hornby Island specific) adventure knapsack with toys, games, fun informative books, pencil crayons, and clipboards, for kids of all ages ($30). It’s made for two kids but can easily satisfy a group. Impressive!

Phenomenal little place. Yes, it is tiny (one room) but the displays and information are world class. A must see for visitors to Hornby Island.

Beautiful multimedia space. A/V, taxidermy, bones, fossils, booklets, images, text, some hands on aspects... overall a wonderfully accessible natural science and history centre for kids and adults alike. And there's AIR CONDITIONING!

Kid friendly, great place to stop in after the market or before hitting the park. Amazing little find tucked in the back side of the school! Throw $10 in the kitty to help with the cost of maintaining this place.
