Once again Ichiban makes the grade. Amazing hand rolled and made to order sushi. Friendly staff and very competitive pricing. The photo is their amazing 'House Roll'. Order this as you sit down as it does take time to create.

This is one of the best places I have ever been to! Everyone is incredibly welcoming and kind and the food is absolutely fantastic. I constantly recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone who asks me where to get sushi in town. They always go above and beyond to make sure I’m welcome and comfortable.

Visiting from Ontario - my girlfriend and I decided to stop in Courtney on our way up island to see some relatives and came across this cute little sushi restaurant! It was quiet and homey and our server was so sweet and bubbly! We had great conversation with her. The food was EXCELLENT. Large portions plus some unique rolls made our meal super enjoyable. I highly recommend Ichiban Sushi Restaurant if you find your way to Vancouver island!

Ichiban Sushi is an excellent Japanese restaurant that I highly recommend. The sushi rolls are fresh and delicious, and the sashimi is of the high quality. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is welcoming and cozy. The restaurant is also very clean and well-maintained.
