I ordered about 10 yards of compost/soil for my garden in spring 2023 and this is the most luscious, healthy garden I think I have ever had. I 10/10 would highly recommend using K&T Rock Shop to anyone who loves gardening. Their service was also very fast, and friendly!! Very impressed. Gotta admit, I was keen to see how a gravel place could have consistent 5 star reviews. Now I'm trying to come up with projects where I'd have a reason to work with K&T again! Helpful, flexible, SO friendly. Definite 5 star.

K & T Rock Shop, located beside Schlegg near Cumberland, had just what I was looking for and I spent less than I expected to pay.
Trudy was helpful and answered all my questions upfront. They carry a variety of soils, mulch, gravels, rocks, flagstones and large single specimen pieces.
I looked around, was given a cart to load up my favourite flagstone pieces, which then got weighed on the scale. I had brought my own gloves and loaded the rocks into my truck.
I then laid out the volcanic rocks in a design for lining a fire pit and Trudy came over and eyed up the amount of rocks and gave me a very reasonable price for it all. Thank you Kevin and Trudy!!

Friendly family-run place, excellent prices and a nice selection of great rocks for landscaping my yard. Also check out the nice painted rocks available by the office. They were very helpful and I will be going back next time I need more rocks, thank you!

I was blown away by the generous spirit of the owner today. I needed some sand, not a lot, to put on the sidewalk of my business. Everyone was closed bc of a big snowfall. But she said, no worries, just meet me there and I'll come open up for you. Wow! She met us there and I got two clean bags of sand. When I asked how to pay, she just said to consider it a Christmas present. The kindness of her going out of her way to come in to work so I could get 2 bags of sand...and then gifting it to me?!?!
