After receiving the results from the first year’s tax return, something seemed off to me from our typical amounts (I used to do our taxes for our family for a decade or more, with no formal training). Because of this, I combed through our receipts and discovered that because of errors by Langille and Co., we were being asked to pay over $3,000 extra in our income taxes. I brought up this problem with them and they fixed it, and I figured it was an overlooked and honest mistake.
However, the following year something very similar occurred. We got our taxes back and something seemed off. I combed through the receipts again and for the second time Jerad Langille almost cost us an extra couple of thousand dollars because of their errors.
Obviously we have not used their services since. We needed an accountant with the most basic level of attention and competence. If this is also what you, your business, and your family needs, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for accounting services.

My husband and I have used Jarad Langille's tax services since coming to Comox three years ago. We found Jarad to be very professional in his approach and knowledgeable in answering our questions and concerns. Our taxes were done promptly and professionally. His rates are very reasonable.
