I absolutely love attending Northgate Church! One of my favorite parts is driving up and seeing the volunteers and staff in the parking lot holding up welcome signs. Their warm smiles and cheerful greetings of “Good morning!” and “We’re glad you’re here!” immediately make me feel welcomed. As we walk toward the building, we’re greeted by even more friendly faces and hellos. It’s such a great way to start our day! The kids check-in process is smooth and efficient. We sign them in quickly on a tablet, get name tags, and know they’re in great hands for their own morning worship. It’s nice to have the option of either sending them to their classes or keeping them with us in the main auditorium for worship, depending on what works best for our family that day. One of my favorite traditions is the “5-minute break” during the service. It’s a unique touch that challenges us to step out of our comfort zone and greet someone new, helping to build a sense of community. After enjoying some awesome church coffee, we get a quick update on church news, followed by a powerful sermon. The whole experience feels intentional, welcoming, and family-friendly. When it’s all over, we pick up our kids, who always seem excited to share about their time there. Northgate is truly a place where we feel connected, encouraged, and at home. It’s great being in a community where God is at work! Praise the Lord 😊 Highly recommend!

My home away from home. When you visit Northgate Church I recommend doing a couple things: 1: arrive early and chat with people at the door. I know its tempting to arrive late. But arriving late will make it harder to connect with people. 2: don't sit in the balcony. Yes its comfortable and feels safe but dont do it. Sitting up in the balcony changes your experience from being a part of Northgate Church to being and Observer of Northgate Church. I can garrantee you will feel less welcome, less connected and likely feel a level of left out. 3: stay for as long as you can after the service. I like to attend the 9:00am service and stay after the service until the second service begins so that I can have as much time as possible to chat with people and get connected. Yes I know this is scary at first, but do it a few weeks in a row and it becomes easier and easier!

This was my first choice when it comes to a well maintained and modern church. My first empression was completely satisfied as I was welcomed with open arms. Sunday sermon was incredible and was surprisingly open to all people. Coffee was provided and bathrooms where clean

I love this church. The efforts by everyone involved here are truly impressive. I have been coming to Sunday services for going on two years. I am grateful that there are many opportunities here to give of my time and finances. Northgate always has something going on to help people in our community and far beyond. Usually I am greeted out on the road, rain or shine, by someone waving and holding a sign. Always at the door with a smile and a handshake. I can get a specialty coffee if I wish, or regular coffee is free. When I first started coming I felt safe and accepted, never judged or pressured. There is a diverse following here, all ages and types of people, with a shared positive vibe. The first time I walked into where worship takes place it was not at all what I was expecting. It is more like a concert hall than a traditional church. Beautiful stage set up, awesome lighting, comfy seats. Then the worship team started playing and I was blown away. Such a talented group of people of all ages, everchanging and amazing each time. The music is up to date and consistent with popular songs on "The Light" cable music station. I like to join in singing when I'm feeling it and also to just bathe in the beauty of the voices of everyone else. The first Sunday of each month led by Pastor George is special to me. He has such a warm and gentle presence. Pastors Allen, Daniel and lead pastor Evan are equally gifted people. Sermons are full of humour, inspiration and hope. Since I have been coming to Northgate my connection with Jesus has become more focussed and impactful. In areas of my life where I have been having trouble, I now feel supported and loved. I am able to accept my mistakes and weaknesses now with more grace, because Northgate has taught me that Jesus accepts me as I am. Services always refocus and inspire me. I learn positive lessons and ways to raise myself higher towards the person that I strive to be. Great church. Great people. Go there!
