What a gorgeous place to head into assisted living. I brought my mum here today and it was such a great experience. Thank you Sophie for emailing me over some further info. I really appreciated it!

When someone incredibly dear to me recently passed away in hospice care, I was devastated and truly heartbroken. My son and I weren’t allowed to be there—despite his personal wishes. His immediate family made decisions that shut us out completely. It was heartbreaking to know he left this world without a proper goodbye from us, especially when our bonds meant so much.
In the beginning, which really started for the most part, four years ago, hospice turned me away because I wasn’t a blood relative. I was grieving, isolated, and struggling, and I felt completely dismissed. But things changed when a doctor who had been helping me manage my own physical pain stepped in. She happened to also work with hospice, and after hearing my story—which includes far more than just this loss—she advocated for me. Thanks to her, hospice finally opened the door to help.
After his passing, I was welcomed into grief counselling through hospice. That alone made such a difference. The woman I started to see listened to me, she understood, and she didn't treat me like I was invisible. She spoke with the hospice care team and they allowed me into the room where he had passed. It was beautiful. The best room there, I'm sure. The view was perfect. The ocean. Perfectly imperfect fit for my friend. Standing in that space gave me a chance to grieve in a way I hadn’t been able to before. It was quiet, personal, and deeply healing.
I’m still receiving support from hospice today. They’ve shown me empathy and care that I never expected to receive. After being pushed aside by others, they helped give me back some dignity, peace, and strength. I will always be grateful for the compassion they offered during such a painful chapter of my life. Thank-you again.

Great staff, warm delicious food that is healthy and use of space is excellent. Recreational therapy is wonderful and robust. I can't say enough good things about this place!

We moved in on the first day of occupancy and loved our new home and all the amenities. The meals have gone from okay to FANTASTIC with a red seal Chef who has joined the team. The meals Don puts out are so good it feels like dining in the finest restaurant every night. There are so many activities you can do something different every day. We are spending our golden years in an amazing place with amazing friends and wonderful staff.
