Bad. This was a huge disappointment. I’m at a loss for words.
Came here for my father’s birthday dinner and dined in the bistro where you can also order from the main restaurant menu. In short we will not be back and would not recommend dining here.
First impression: run down and needs updating. Worn out menus, seating, etc.
Service: very very slow, uniformed, absentminded.
Food: high prices, poor quality, small portions.
Fish and chips: they were all batter and no fish — to be fair they did bring additional battered fish to try and make up for it but it was still lacking the fish.
Crudités (vegetable) platter: was $25 and came with 2 carrot sticks, 2 celery sticks, 2 cucumber sticks, some stale bread, and a bowl of pasty, flavourless hummus. I have gotten more vegetables when ordering chicken wings at a pub. This was truly pathetic and should be removed from the menu.
Korean chicken bowl: this was probably the most substantial thing ordered. Came with chicken strips tossed in red sauce — maybe gochujang
Veggie burger: we were told it could be made without the cheese, then 25 minutes after ordering we were informed it could NOT be made without cheese and had to order something else. Another member of our party also ordered the veggie burger, it was sub par, served with a tiny bowl of limp cold fries.
Fried squid: very fried, decent portion size, came with rice noodles? And two slivers of cucumber. Random.
Ordered drinks that never arrived. Waited a very long time to order, then again for our food, and again for the bill. nobody checked in to see how our meal was — we had to grab someone to help us.
Overall very turned off by this experience.
Please save yourself the disappointment and consider dining elsewhere. Really not sure how this place has a Michelin trained chef running the place, I would be surprised if they stick around at this establishment long, I’m sure they could do a lot better elsewhere.

A bougie restaurant to take a date or guest out for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is one of the best in the Valley and service is always excellent here. The food and menu fell a bit short but is good enough.
I ordered the 6oz steak ($30) and found it very salty and the portion size quite small. It could use a bit more vegetables and potatoes to justify the cost. Definitely need an appetizer or two with it.
My guest ordered the avocado toast ($21) but they didn't have the correct bread today and two different types of egg benedict ($24/$27). They enjoyed the meal. The menu could use seasonal specials added as it's the same menu for a while now.
The strongest positive is the atmosphere, settings and decor of the restaurant with views of the waters. The service is always excellent, no problem with the service here. I'd recommend this place for special occasions.

I had oysters then my mom and I both got the Cesar salad and the steak frites and a tequila sour. The food was delicious and our service was incredible (thank you Alex!). But we both got food poisoning shortly after, hard to say what from but the way the lettuce was cut it looked like it may not be easy to wash well. I couldn't eat the creme brulee I took to the room but it looked beautiful.
