Our first visit there in over eight years, and we weren’t disappointed. We arrived for an early lunch before treatments at the spa so opted for breakfast selection. Eva’s Benedict with salmon was great as was the avacado toast option. I thoroughly enjoyed their Skydome Smash Mocktail! Really unique and refreshing beverage that I would definitely order again. Enjoyed the experience. Staff was great!

I got to experience the beautiful winter light display from inside the amazing domes the restaurant sets up just for the holiday season. It felt magical. The seats came with warm blankets and fluffy pillows. The seafood at Ocean 7 is amazing. We were told that the restaurant deals with local fishmongers directly to get the best catch to serve customers. The cocktails and wine we had paired so well with our meals. The staff really took the time to make us feel at home and welcome. Ocean 7 is definitely one of the best restaurants I've ever been to.
P.S. The chef here served us personally and he's real eye-candy

To say this place is "good" or "great" is a massive understatement. I’ve been to plenty of highly-rated spots across Vancouver Island, and usually, they fall short in one specific area or service detail. Not this time. Everything was, in short… perfect.
I have never had a dining experience where every single person played their role so seamlessly. From the host to the busser, the service was absolute clockwork.
The Food
The Steak & Scallops: I had the 6 oz. Premium Canadian Beef Tenderloin paired with seared scallops. Even with my strict dietary restrictions (no dairy, egg, or nuts), the flavors were incredibly well-balanced and the cook was spot-on. Even without butter, the meal was amazing.
The Chicken: My wife ordered the Vancouver Island Free-Range Chicken, and it blew her expectations out of the water. The truffle pureed mashed potatoes were rich, and the broccolini still had that perfect crunch. The addition of the foie gras on top really pulled the whole meal together. It was a true delight from start to finish.
The Sides: The truffle parmesan baguette was a standout.
Everything was excellent and I will be returning in the future. This was our 10th anniversary dinner; however, there was no complimentary treat or food offered as I’ve had at other places. Despite that, this is still very highly recommended in my books.

Came here to celebrate an anniversary and it was very nice. Our server, Corrine (sp) was fabulous. I was initially feeling uncomfortable because my fiancee isn't a foodie like me and is a "meat and potatoes" man. She recommended that he order from the Bistro menu which suited his palette better.
The atmosphere was very elegant and cozy at the same time. Being able to lookout onto the ocean made the experience that much more delightful. I think that maybe perhaps merging the two menus together would be beneficial

I had amazing service and the food was very tasty. It was the best avocado toast I have had! The portions were good for the price and the View was amazing.
