We stayed 2 nights to celebrate by husband's birthday and wish we stayed longer. The rooms and services are outstanding from nespresso machines in the rooms and a coffee bar in the lobby, pool and hottub, comfortable bed and fresh baked every afternoon (but be warned, oatmeal has RAISINS lol). Can't wait to return.

My family stayed at the Old House Hotel for two nights. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub in the rain. It reminds us of relaxing in the hot tub after skiing when we go to Whistler. My girls love the 24-hour coffee machine and cookies in the lobby of both buildings ~ very thoughtful 😊 We also like the heated floor in the bathroom and adequate hooks in and outside of the bathroom. The service is great 😊 Thank you

Never imagined there would be such a decent hotel in Courtenay!
Front desk ladies are so professional, sweet and considerate, make you feel like returning home. Rooms are spacious, bedding and towels with high quality like that of a 5 stars .
We are a 5 people family group in a two bedroom suite, still felt very comfortable, especially the kitchen, so well equipped that you can find anything you need.
Also their complimentary coffee and cookies are best in the world!
Love this hotel, will come back in summer and spend more time here.

This has been my "go to" place to stay in the Comox Valley since my first stay!
The rooms are probably better than any others in the area (disclaimer, I haven't stayed in every hotel). Top notch for comfort and in room amenities.
Great location! Central, next to the river and a great walking path along the river and easy to access.
Service has always been great, the lobby coffee/hot chocolate machine and cookies are a bonus. The only minor issue might be that the reservation line appears to be out of country (correct me if I'm wrong, but strong indicators that it's the case) and didn't have knowledge of the area, or specifics of the rooms (other than the script). Overall the reservation line was good though.
The outdoor heated pool and hot tub are a pleasant bonus.
Great hotel!

I was on a special weekend with my grandson Kaine, who is down syndrome and is 17 years old and is not hard of hearing. Neither am I the volume on my TV was set at 25 and I could not turn it up. We were trying to relax after a hot tub and swim and could not listen or hear the TV at all extremely annoying. Front desk could not help because no maintenance people on over the weekend. Spent $200 for one night and was not satisfied.
