Rooms are nice big and spacious. Kitchenette is decent size. Big fridge and range with oven. But the breakfast and breakfast room is a major disappointment. It's tiny can hardly accommodate 8 people at a time. Brown and white Bread and one type of muffin was the only option along with juice and coffee. No laundry here.

While the lady who checked us in was very nice and gave us a full refund - the level of cleanliness was completely unacceptable.
Stains, I can deal with. The old musty smell? That's fine. Sure, there's a cigarette burn, but it's alright. (Though, I have never seen so many stains on a blanket before.)
But we discovered one of our beds was *infested* with silverfish. This is completely unacceptable. I've been to a lot of bad hotels, but never to one that made me so disgusted I had to leave. Incredibly shameful and disgusting. I can't believe they offer a pool, when they can't be bothered to properly clean their rooms.

I found the service exceptional. The room was much bigger than we expected. We enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was decent enough, but the breakfast room was tight. It was better to grab the food and head back to our room.

Budget rooms, clean enough but furnishings need to be put to rest. Bathroom newly renovated. Bottom floor noisy from above. When the upper suite had a shower it was like a 747 taking off in your room . Worst was the front desk. Barely a greeting? No smiles, no thank you. Then they gave my room out to another client. As I was relaxing two people unlocked my door and walked in. Surprise to all of us. They are not organized. If I wasn’t there my belongings could have been taken.
A mistake but a serious one. When I phoned the front desk from my cell phone( room phone did not work).
Barely a sorry, couldn’t care less.
I’ll go back and give them another chance. For an overnight it’s worth the savings. Front desk customer service, smile and pretend you care, say hello and thank you.

Hotel is old and obviously the rooms are old. I am Not sure how old the carpet is but 🤞we won’t catch anything. Very expensive for a Comox hotel, pretty much paying Vancouver rate for a lot worth of hotel. Railings are broken on top in the room so have to be careful not to hold on to it.
Lady at the front desk was very professional and friendly. Quick check in.
