I had a great experience with this sleep country. Tried a mattress for 90 days and it wasn’t the right one for me. Staff was amazing and helped me use the 100 day exchange program to exchange my mattress for another. I purchased a Casper Snow Plush - amazing!!! Best mattress I have ever had.
Thank you to Corey for the best mattress selection experience. He knows his stuff. He helped me by being extremely diligent and patient with me to find the right mattress for me. I think we spent 45 min just finding the best one for my sleeping positions (I’m a side sleeper and a back sleeper). I had no idea I was sleeping on the wrong mattress for years. My back was killing me. Once I dialed in the right one, my sleep was amazing!! I haven’t regretted my purchase of the Casper at all!

Unfortunately my experience sleep country in a whole is quickly turning horrible. We purchased a kingsdown mattress the 22nd of Dec and although not through the courtenay location, they have added to the experience. The 17th of Jan we have noticed more than a 1"sink in the mattress which the mattress is warranties for 10yrs. I figured "no problem, obviously a failed mattress, and We're with the 30 day return/exchange as noted on their sleep country canada website. When I called the Courtenay store, the employee I spoke with immediately tried to put it on us that we haven't rotated the mattress, and isn't polite about it. Hes trying to get into a full blown argument with me. It's been less than 30 days.. you are recommended to rotate a mattress every 3-6months. At this point I'm interested in returning the product. To which I'm told they will only exchange a mattress despite their canadian website stating, and I quote
"For eligible purchases, you have 30 days from your date of delivery or in-store purchase to make an EXCHANGE OR RETURN. You can stop by any of our stores across Canada to do so. Just make sure your item(s) are unopened and unused, and you have your receipt handy.
For returning purchases fulfilled by courier, please reach out to our Customer Service team to get that process started.
What's not eligible for return?
Unfortunately, we do not accept returns or exchanges on large items (such as headboards and bedframes), with the EXCEPTION OF MATTRESSES and box springs.
This sounds contradictory and misleading at best. Their customer service over the phone.. no better. The first agent I reached was not understandable over his headset and impossible to hear. When asked to please speak more clearly or use an actual receiver, he hung up. The second rep rep hung up when I asked about the language in their return policy not matching what their return/exchange policy was on mattresses. Over all I've spent almost $3000 i really wish would be supporting a business that actually cares for their clients.
Would not recommend to anyone and will definitely be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Patrick S. from Sleep Country in Courtenay was very helpful with my new bed and bedding purchase! He is very knowledgeable and was very patient with me while I was trying out the mattresses and new pillows. I was looking at buying a platform online, but he showed me a better option available in the store which would be delivered and set up along with my new mattress. I really appreciated Patrick’s helpful recommendations which also helped me purchase all the right accessories to coordinate my new mattress and platform purchase. The bamboo sheets, the Hush mattress protector and pillow protectors as well as the new pillows were all the perfect choice and I’m very happy with everything. Thanks again Patrick! The delivery was also quick and efficient. Paul and his partner from A&H Hauling are also great ambassadors for your company. Their delivery and set-up also added an extra level of excellent customer service to my latest purchasing experience with Sleep Country in Courtenay.

I bought a Bloom, bed in a box, from Sleep Country. The salesman took his time explaining all the different firmness each mattress provided. I lay on all of them and then picked out the one that was most comfortable to me. Timely and painless process. Thank you guys so much.
