I've been going to this gym for 14 months five days a week and have nothing but amazing things to say. - CrossFit, at least here with the Level Method programming, is way different than I expected but in a great way. There is a lot of resistance training with compound and Olympic lifting, it's not just HIIT bootcamp. There is also a clear progression system to track 15 areas of fitness. - Every coach is either educated or highly experienced or both in sports, nutrition, and lifting. The classes are also limited in size so you get personal attention every class to ensure you are using the proper form and avoid injury. - All you have to do is sign up and show up. Get yourself there and the coach takes care of the rest. The workouts scale as you progress so it never gets easier, always pushes you to grow every class. - The community is the gym is great and highly supportive. Everyone is really welcoming and encouraging. I was nervous when I first started as I was doing "easier" workouts than a lot of people. I mentioned this to someone who I considered much more fit and his response pointed out that because of the scaling that the Level Method provides, he was not working out any harder than I was! Try these guys out! I highly recommend getting the five class personal trainer package which also gives you two weeks unlimited classes once you've done your sessions. These five classes help familiarize you with the kinds of exercises you will do and starts you off with a "level" across all 15 disciplines.
I look forward to going to StrongHearts every day. The coaches are awesome and very knowledgeable. The other members are so welcoming and supportive the classes are fun in a challenging way and its very inclusive. This is the best gym I've ever stepped foot in by a long shot.
Near the end of 2019, I decided to add some variety to my fitness routine and was curious about CrossFit, having never really tried it before and not knowing very much about it. Before long, coming to StrongHearts after work to exercise in a fun, encouraging environment became the highlight of my day, and I can’t say enough great things about all of the coaches, the quality of instruction, and sense of community. My overall fitness has improved significantly since I started, and with all of the workouts being scaled to your own fitness level, knowledgeable coaches, and supportive, inclusive members, there’s something for everyone here whether you’re looking to start your fitness journey, add to your existing routine, or just try something new.
This is a fantastic gym. My body hurt from a couple months of travelling and irregular exercise, and the folks at StrongHearts Fitness sorted me out. I felt welcomed from day one, and was very impressed by their knowledge and eye for good form. I had a month membership and was able to drop in on a mix of classes, depending on what worked best for my day. This place is awesome hands down. Great environment to better fitness, health and movement. If you want to actually enjoy your time at the gym, while getting fit, StrongHearts is the place to go. Great trainers, small classes, and amazing people! Make a goal, and they will help you reach it! I was climbing ropes and doing pull-ups in no time (who can say that?!)
