I live in Victoria, but everytime I visit Courtenay The Soup Pot is on my list of places to stop. Great little mom and pop shop, and offers a grab and go cup of soup/scone or sandwiches. Soups are listed on their Facebook the day before so you can plan ahead.

Unpretentious. Good portions, tasty and hearty soup, wasn't shy with the cut of roast beef in my sandwich. Great lunch stop!

This is such a cute soup kitchen. Heather and Gordon are great cooks and hosts. If you're not sure what the soup tastes like, ask for a sample. The soup is so nutritious and the cheese scone is delicious. I got the borscht soup with sour cream. I ate outside with my dog. It was a lot of fun and reasonably priced. Very nice owners. Please support the local business.
