We just moved to Courtenay and needed a groomer for our 13 1/2 year old miniature poodle. Thoughtful Paws took us on as clients. No issues booking an appointment. The shop was clean and smelled good when we dropped off our dog. He was ready to go within the agreed time. When we picked him up, he was calm and looked great. Shortly after we got home, a nice surprise arrived by email. They had taken a Christmas photo since it was just days before the 25th.
This was an excellent experience for us and our dog. We have already booked our next appointment.

This place is incredible! They handled my anxious dogs nail trim with such speed and care. Never seen her so proud of herself after the "horrors" of a nail trim 😂 we'll definitely be back!

I was unsure about having my cairn terrier clipped. Just got him back and i am delighted at the way he looks. Thank you for a great job , see you in 10 weeks.

I called to see if walk in appointments are back in business at Thoughtful Paws and they are! I was more than happy to wear the requested mask while Angela and Scott worked on my three dogs.
The kindness, time, and compassion for all of my animals is over the top! I was so pleased there was no judgement on the long claws I brought in for them to take care of for us.
Scott and Angela are ALWAYS awesome. Their work is great, I highly recommend them!
