Great service and prices. The optometrist was top-notch, and my glasses were ready within two weeks.

Had my eye exam at Walmart vision center with the eye doctor and received the prescription for my glasses. I decided to buy my glasses from an alternative eyeglass center down town .They made my glasses according to the Walmart prescription, but the vision made me dizzy and ill feeling in my stomach. I went back to Walmart vision center and asked for a recheck, the man at the walmart vision store looked at the glasses and said the glasses were made wrong. I went back to place the glasses were made and told them what Wal-Mart had said, they rechecked and told me they were made to the prescription that Wal-Mart vision center gave me. I asked them for another pair to be made with a better quality of lens, they did this for me. While I had to wait a couple of weeks I saw the ophthalmologist here in the comox valley he examined my eyes and gave me a clean bill (No eye health problems) for my eyes, except I need glasses. I then received my new glasses and the same problem was there dizzy and ill to my stomach. Back to walmart for another recheck of my vision again the optometrist said the first prescription is the same as the second she had just given me. I decided to have another vision check this time with a different optometry office in courtenay, the prescription was different than Walmarts. Again the optical place graciously (now 3 pairs) made me another pair of glasses but to the new prescription and finally I can see without dizziness and an ill stomach. Back to Wal-Mart vision center and informed them that the 2 vision checks I received from them were wrong, they blamed the place I had my glasses made saying that they must have made the first 2 pairs wrong. I argued but they refused to admit they were in the wrong . So for the record bad service and bad customer relations. I give them a -10 for a review.

Lady said she couldn't dispense my contacts even though I had my prescription. Said the contact fitter wasn't there so I couldn't be helped that day. Didn't tell me when or how I could get in touch with the fitter. Not her fault. Just seems like a poorly organized place. Not streamlined at all
