This is a product review for SAICO’S Hardwax Oil used in Alberta purchased from Woodland Flooring in Comox BC. After purchasing a fixer-upper and finding fir flooring during a demolition, I hired a contractor to sand the floors and then called Steve at Woodland to have them ship me SAICO's Hardwax Oil since it is not available for sale in Alberta. Heads-Up - if using this product in Alberta be prepared to double-up on the required coats. The project required 4 coats when using the SAICO's recommended roller, but when I switched to a higher nap roller I was able to accomplish the kitchen with just 3 coats. The finish in all rooms looks identical. The only downside to the process was having to panic-order additional cans of finish when it was absorbing more than expected. It's been over 6 months and the floors still look amazing. Even with squeaks and movement in these super old floors, the finish is not cracking and none of the filled areas have popped out. Overall, 100% happy. Thanks Steve and Grasy!

I do quite a bit of woodworking, and by profession I am musician that adores highly figured wood finishes on musical instruments. As such, I am quite picky about the appearance of wood products. We recently had maple flooring installed in our house from Woodland, and all I can say is, stunning. Absolutely gorgeous hardwood, from the construction, to the grain selection, to the finish, 10/10 product. The fact that they source as much wood as they can locally just adds to the appeal. Love it, couldn't be happier.

We are 2 time purchasers of woodland floors. Our first in the mid-90,s when woodland was just getting started. Our last engineered flooring was installed in 2004 and is shown in woodland photos (staircase and flooring picture) . Many guests at Royston House comment how new the floor looks and all we do is give it a quick damp wipe. Nancy and Ross Munro
