We stopped in here as part of wandering along the Heritage Walkway from our hotel down to the airport and back. Lovely Rhododendron garden, full of color during the blooming season.,

Garden is unkept now, needs fallen trees removed, plants need pruning and dead rhododendrons need to be removed. The structures are in great need of repair or total replacement , trails are overgrown in parts, with a slipping hazard on back edge near river and no railing.
The pictures on the web site are grossly outdated now. The fee should be by donation from what we saw after driving 2 hours up island to see.
2 stars is generous for what we paid.
